The Orillia and District Agricultural Society (ODAS) is a volunteer-driven, community-minded, registered non-profit charitable organization. ODAS is celebrating its 162nd year in 2012. ODAS Park is located in Severn Township, on the city limits of Orillia, on 45 acres. The park is an ideal venue for a wide variety of events, indoor and outdoor. The objective of the Society is to encourage an awareness of agriculture and the environment by providing opportunities, education and improvements to the quality of life for all citizens.
The Society fulfils this goal each year by holding the Orillia and District Fall Fair, an event that has been held since 1850. The tradition of the Fall Fair provides a venue where local citizens can show their quality livestock, crafts, fruits and vegetables, flowers and talents. The fact that many of our citizens, young and old, make the Orillia Fall Fair an annual excursion and family event is something we are very proud of.

We are in what is referred to as District # 5 of the OAAS. The OAAS is a unifying body for Agricultural Societies in Ontario which through communication and educational activities, provides leadership to the entire agricultural industry.
The Directors and Executive members and the army of volunteers work hard to maintain the property, buildings and organize and support a wide variety events. ODAS always needs new volunteers to assist with planning and holding events.
